A small condo bedroom can still have generous storage — the trick is building up, building in, and using every awkward inch. Here's how.
Go floor to ceiling
In a small room, the wall height is your best friend. A wardrobe that runs floor to ceiling stores far more than a standard box and stops dust collecting on top. The high shelf is perfect for luggage and off-season bedding you rarely reach for.
Sliding doors when space is tight
If there's no room to swing a door open at the foot of the bed, sliding doors are the answer — they take zero space in front. Mirror one panel and it doubles as a full-length mirror and makes the room feel bigger.
Design the inside around what you own
- Double hanging for shirts to fit more in the same height
- A few drawers for underwear, socks and small items
- Adjustable shelves for folded clothes and bags
- A slim pull-out for accessories, or a small dresser
- A corner or L-shape to use an awkward nook
Keep it light and seamless
Handleless doors and a light, matte finish make a wardrobe recede into the room instead of dominating it. Matching the door colour to the wall makes a small room feel calmer and less boxed-in. We'll show you a 3D layout so you can see it before we build.
